About The IFC

A unique experience of the charism lived in an international environment. 

It is a course that seeks to be a decisive moment in the life of the formator, so that he may fall more in love with Christ, be formed and renew his yes to his vocation as an apostle of the Kingdom in Regnum Christi for the Church.

Mission

To form and inspire the formators of Regnum Christi.

Under this prism, 4 objectives emerge:

  • To provoke a real, personal and transforming encounter with Christ, in which the formator discovers his vocation to be a beloved son of the Father, in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit (cf. LG 7).
  • To facilitate in the young people a greater knowledge of themselves, together with the awareness of their vocation and mission within Regnum Christi in the Church.
  • To offer formation content that helps them to read the world, history and the signs of the times from the Gospel.
  • To encourage the formators to experience the joy of living the faith in a community of apostles of Regnum Christi, aware that we are part of a spiritual family in the Church (cf. EIRC 17).

Why Attend?

This course offers the necessary motivations, content, and tools in the human, spiritual, intellectual and apostolic fields so that the formator can carry out their specific mission in Regnum Christi at the service of the Church.

The International Formators Course (IFC) is directed by the Life and Mission area, an office of the Regnum Christi Federation. It has an advisory council for the IFC, made up of priests and Legionary brothers who have participated in the course. This council supports the Life and Mission area for the healthy development of the IFC.

With in the Formation Program of the IFC there are the 4 areas of formation:

1. Personal Encounter with Christ

Create opportunities for a real, personal and transforming encounter with Christ, in which the formator discovers his vocation to be a beloved child of the Father, in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit (cf. LG 7).

2. Self-Knowledge
 

Facilitate greater self-knowledge in each formator, which serves as the basis for the spiritual life, alongside the awareness of their vocation and mission within Regnum Christi and the Church.

3. Intellectual Formation

Offers a solid intellectual formation based on the triad: God-Man-World. This helps to understand the world, history, and the signs of the times in light of the Gospel.

4. Community of Apostles

Facilitate for the formators an experience of the joy of living the faith in a community of apostles, aware that we are part of a spiritual family in the Church (cf. EIRC 17).

Regnum Christi promotes the formation of formators because it recognizes that a deep, lasting and dynamic apostolic action requires people who are prepared to form, guide and inspire others.
